DARING DEBATES 2018 FOR GOA EDITION ENDS ON AN ENTHUSIASTIC NOTE
The Goa Edition of Daring Debates was successfully organised in partnership with Goa University and Sanghmitra.
Ms Victoria Lobo from St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa who spoke for the motion, and Ms. Jagmeet Kour from Ponda Education Society, Ponda who debated against the motion, walked away as winners from this edition. Besides, Mr. Kenneth Alvares from Don Bosco College, Panjim was selected as the wild-card entry winner.
The debates were judged by an eminent panel of three jury members Mr. Peter F. Borges (CEO and Founder of Human Touch), Tania Devaiah (Activist and Campaigner) and Anita Haladi (Lecturer and former Chaiperson of Goa State Commission for Children).
The winning duo along with the wild-card entry winner would be joining other regional winners who will contest the Daring Debates Grand Finale on February 10, 2018 at Goa which is a part of Difficult Dialogues 2018.
