JO CHOPRA

JO CHOPRA

Jo Chopra is an American writer who has been resident in India for the past 35 years. She is the co-founder and director of the Latika Roy Foundation, a voluntary organization for children with disability. She has written five books on cardiac health and hundreds of articles on education, disability, culture, politics and religion for Indian and international journals. She trained as a lay midwife, is amusingly fluent in Hindi, and loves public speaking, opera, photography, reading, cooking and wine.
