Julia is the Chairman of the Consortium for Street Children. She is also the founding partner of The Change Management Group (CMG), an international management consulting firm. CMG specialises in implementing strategic transformation projects in the consumer products sector. They have offices in London, Dubai, Sydney and New York. Prior to founding CMG, she held positions at Disney and Ernst&Young. In the ‘80s Julia worked at a residential centre for street connected children and she ran a soup kitchen in Poughkeepsie, New York. Her experience with street-connected children motivated her to seek voluntary positions in the sector, and in 2002 she began working with the Consortium for Street Children, joined the board of Trustees in 2003, served as Vice Chair in 2014, Co-Chair in 2015 and stepped up as Chair in 2016. She earned a degree in Anthropology (BSc) and Mandarin at Vassar College in 1986. Julia is also a Co-Chair of the President’s International Advisory Committee for Vassar College in 1986. Julia is also a Co-Chair of the President’s International Advisory Committee for Vassar College and serves as a Trustee for the Global Media Campaign to end FGM (GMC).
