Dr. Sneh Bhargava, MD, FAMS, DMRD (Eng), FRCR (London), FICR, FNASc, DSc (Hon Causa), is India’s first female radiologist. She served the All India Institute of Medical Sciences for three decades, the last six years as director. Dr. Bhargava was Awarded the “Padma Shri” by the President of India in 1991. She has also served as a member of the governing body of the Medical Council of India and as the chairman of the Ethics Committee. In 2014 she was presented the lifetime achievement award by Prime Minister Modi, which was conferred by AIIMS.
