ZOYA ALI RIZVI
Dr. Zoya Ali Rizvi is the assistant commissioner of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. She currently looks after the health programme called Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK) which caters to the health needs of more than 253 million adolescent boys and girls spread across 36 states of the country. She is also working on strengthening the adolescent friendly health services along with bringing in critical thinking into the community level interventions of RKSK through study and interaction with the various partners in health working with the government. She has participated in the member state consultation at WHO, Geneva to draft global plan for action to strengthen the role of health system to address interpersonal violence against women, children and girl child.
